Getting Facebook Links

There are many reasons we need to get links to parts of our facebook page. Here are some tips.

Links to your page

Facebook page links are very simple and are basically

facebook.com/PageName

However there is a difference. If you have chosen a user-name for your page (different from the page name) the link will have no numbers in it.

If you haven’t chosen a user name then the link will have a series of numbers included with the name:

Everything after the “/” you can delete. But ALWAYS TEST to make sure you have a good link.

Post Links

It is easy to get a post link when you know how. The format is basically

facebook.com/posts/###############
or
facebook.com/videos/###############

When you find the post you want the link for, look for the time the post was created.

Event Links

Event links work the same way. They will have the format

facebook.com/events/###############
